LongbowJo 3-season rural shelter made with local wood

LongbowJo™ · Saint-Moïse

LongbowJo rural micro-buildings

Modular rural structures made with local wood, developed in Saint-Moïse in limited production.

LongbowJo develops modular rural micro-buildings from locally milled wood. The project aims to create useful structures for land, woodlots, workshops, storage, shelters and 3-season rural uses.

A local project built from what is already there

LongbowJo is based in Saint-Moïse, Quebec. The project is built on a simple idea: give more value to local wood instead of selling the resource at a discount. With a mobile sawmill, family land and a progressive approach, LongbowJo develops useful, realistic prototypes rooted in the land.

A modular design without publishing the process

LongbowJo prototypes use a modular local-wood approach. The design aims to produce simple, solid and adaptable structures depending on available materials, intended use and budget.

Some configurations may include a more natural interior and natural materials such as hemp, depending on the quote and required validations.
