LongbowJo™ · real prototype
A 3-season rural micro-building made with local wood and developed as a reference model.
The LongbowJo 8 x 12 prototype tests a modular local-wood approach. It can inspire uses such as land shelter, forestry workshop, rural storage, 3-season rustic cabin or small utility building.
The 8 x 12 prototype is large enough to be useful, compact enough to remain realistic to produce, and simple enough to validate cost, fabrication time, handling, potential transport and market interest.
The design aims to protect weather-exposed areas while keeping a warmer, more natural interior. Some configurations may integrate natural materials such as hemp, depending on the project, intended use and quote.
This prototype was used for maple production this year. The future LongbowJo maple installation will be developed separately.
Raw 3-season version: starting at $19,500 + taxes
LongbowJo does not carry standardized inventory. Each project is evaluated according to available materials, format, openings, finishing, transport, foundation, options and site constraints. Indicative price subject to final quote.
LongbowJo micro-buildings are presented as prototypes, rural shelters, workshops, rustic cabins or 3-season utility structures. They are not presented as certified dwellings, tiny homes, residential cottages, certified manufactured buildings or complete ready-to-install solutions.
Any permanent use, customer-site installation, foundation, connection, heating, electricity, plumbing, 4-season use or residential use must be validated separately according to applicable municipal, professional, insurance and regulatory requirements.
The customer is responsible for checking municipal requirements for their land, including zoning, permits, setbacks, foundation, authorized use and local restrictions.

LongbowJo moves step by step: one prototype, one improvement, one quote, one limited production. The goal is not to promise too quickly, but to build a realistic product line from local wood, available tools and real demand.
